Born in 1983 and raised in Barcelona, my first encounter with design was during my bachelor. Back then, design was about the making of cool products, but it was during my Masters in TU Delft, where my whole perspective about design evolved to a higher meaning. This new
understanding has been growing during the last years working in international environments and sectors with talented people. During this time design has also evolved. I think now we have been given the opportunity to leverage design as business and society value design differently. I see UX research as a key activity to fulfil this expectation. It helps design to better understand the desired outcome while it also helps to raise awareness of the impact design does on people wellbeing. This drives me to deep dive into user understanding as it triggers my mind to make new
connections that I try to apply to business, product and people.
