How would you imagine your ideal skin care shopping experience?

CONTEXT

Going to mass retail stores or smaller luxury boutiques to shop for skin care might seem like a hassle for some, or a walk in the park for others who already have their recurring habits. However the constant evolution of brands, customers, and ways to engage them pushes towards a change in how this experience should be lived.

That's where we need your imagination and skills.

BRIEF

Gathering your own visions from personal experiences, or ones that you have discovered by asking around friends and family, share with us and show us how you would imagine the new ideal shopping experience for skin care products.

Re-invent it through designs, pictures, text, powerpoints pointing out new displays, functionnalities, their look & feel, the emotions they should transfer to the customers, and how they should adress them. How could brand communicate on the point of sales with innovative mechandising, mobile marketing, testing, or having brand ambassadors on the spot...to help you, think about what you like most or what's most frustrating to you when shopping.

How would you learn and discover what is the right product for your skin type? Imagine the different point of sales advertising opportunities that you would like to see; the ones that could convince you to try a new skin care product or talk about it to your entourage because it was intriguing ;)

Portay either the store where you shop all the time or start from scratch and adress mass retail stores and/or smaller luxury boutiques which probably won't adress their customers in the same manner, or have the same types of products.

Winning criterias: The best entries will be judged on relevance, innovation, level of detail, and realisticness. Be sure to be original, inspiring and aspiring to get noticed!

GUIDELINES

  • Videos, photos, print ads, texte, PowerPoint, slogan, design
  • Be as specific and visual as possible to win
  • Language must english (if you create a video, you can participate in your own language, but please include english subtittles)
  • In your media description, you must tell us more about yourself: where you come from and your cultural background. Choose from the following categories only: White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indian Sub Continent or Prefer not to say. This is needed for statistical purposes only.


PRIZES : $10,000 total

1st prize: $2,500 USD
2nd Prize: $1,000 USD
3-7th prize: $500 USD each
8-12th prize: $200 USD each
13th to 22nd prize: $100 USD each

Contestants undertake to submit creative and original works.
Contestants warrant that they hold all rights upon submitted works and warrant that the use of the works in the contest does not violate any third parties' rights.
Contestants acknowledge that in case of breach of these rules, the organizer shall be entitled to deem their participation and the prize granting as void.
